What you'll learn
- Run one campaign, split by ad groupsDemand Gen learns at the ad group level, and it's the first campaign type with location and language targeting per ad group. So Thomas runs one campaign, including retargeting and prospecting, instead of splitting the budget.
- Test creative types in separate ad groupsPut images in one ad group and videos in another, let them run for about 60 days, and turn off the one that loses. Then add as many creatives as you can of the type that won.
- Build lookalikes from your best customersUpload your conversion or Shopify customer data as a customer match list and use it as the seed for a lookalike. You can also run a Meta lead gen campaign with quality questions and use those fresh leads as the seed.
- Don't take Google's budget advice literallyGoogle recommends a daily budget of 15 times your target CPA. Thomas sees 3 to 4 times work fine: start on Max Conversions, then set a target CPA based on your average from the last 30 to 60 days.
- Judge it on assists, not only ROASDemand Gen is a mid-funnel campaign that's slow to start. His clients usually see a ROAS around 2.2 (one is at 4.5), so check the attribution report to see how much it helps your search campaigns.
About this episode
Not many people were sharing what actually works in Demand Gen when it launched.
Thomas Eccel was one of the few. He studied everything about it, tested it with his clients, and shared the results on LinkedIn. Some people now call him the “Demand Gen Whisperer”.
In this episode, we go through:
- What Demand Gen is, and which advertisers it’s right for
- Why you should run one campaign with ad group level learning
- How he tests creative types and picks his first audiences
- His Meta lead gen to Demand Gen lookalike strategy
- How much budget you really need, and how to judge results
He’s also worked in Google Ads support himself, so he shares why a good support agent can help a lot more than most people think.

00:00the cool thing is that the manen is the first campaign ever that learns on at group level all right Thomas welcome to the PBC Mastery podcast uh it's super exciting to to have you um and uh I can't wait to talk to you all about the man gen today um for those of the listeners who don't know who Thomas is obviously I'm going to ask you to to tell a little bit about yourself but Thomas I just wanted to say that um what I respect about you is that on LinkedIn you're you're sharing a lot of news updates and you've grown your account really rapidly um if I look into the the industry you see Adrian who's like taking a rocket ship to to Mars on his own U but you have also been one of the guys that is growing really fast uh with the huge huge following um and I see that you have a really nice balance of news updates but also sharing more of the strategies and tactics that that are working for you so um yeah I'm super excited to to talk to you today in the BBC Mastery podcast um so before we jump into everything related to demandas um could you tell us a little bit something about yourself that most people don't know yeah sure yeah thanks mes for being here it's an honor obviously in the new podcast uh yeah one thing that nobody knows about me is uh actually quite funny um once I did my master studies um I started my own blog um where I wrote articles about recipes Italian recipes travel destinations and even about the
01:39the LinkedIn algorithm how it worked that was back in 2017 and and my goal was to see how my blog articles rank in terms of SE of SE search engine optimization and I yeah try to influence uh all the SE keywords The Meta description meta titles and and saw then later how they rank on the Google search in Life Organic ranking so that was um yeah for me like the first step into toward search let's say like this and since it was my blog um I I really learned a lot because I saw if I change a SE keyword on the on the blog uh post behind how how my ranking in in Google search uh got influenced and uh yeah I I I really liked it and but at that time I had no clue about Google Ads um but this was my really my first um like touch point with Google search and at that time I really learned a lot about SE and about Google also that se is quite uh yeah can be quite a coincidence that you rank uh really high even if you um have bad keywords or the opposite if you have really good keywords you can rank really low so that was looking already seeing a bit that Google is yeah not really 100% uh yeah it can be also coincidence luck if you rank good and yeah and and another thing is maybe that I my one of my biggest hobbies that nobody knows is met meteorology so I uh I I really like to understand the weather and the climate and that was a hobby since I was a child
03:17so I really like to read physical maps uh yeah um climate zone maps and and everything and wanted to know every always about the the temperatures uh average temperatures over the year of each cities uh yeah that's still I still do that watching the the Windy app to check out the maps and yeah really that's really funny but nobody knows about that that's awesome man did you want to become a weather man when you were younger you know like all my friends always told me like you would be the perfect weatherman because you always know everything about the weather but uh now it was never really my let's say my um where I wanted to work but I always said it's my hobby so I'm doing it to work that's nice man that's awesome that's that's a really good one um and then just a quick question so when you started with all the SEO stuff how did you make the transition to to Google Ads um I I was doing next to the master I did like Community Management course so there I was introduced to Google Ads but just like in maybe one day session so I just learned what is Google Ads it's auction basis and whatever um but and then later I did the internship in corporate online marketing and there I got introduced a bit more like practically into Google Ads but that was kind of it and then I got a call from Lisbon from Google um where they say you speak German right I say yeah I say okay we need Google ad support agent coming now to Lisbon in next month do you want to do it said I don't know yeah maybe and then I said yes and then I started directly in the Google support so that
04:55was really my like hard transition yeah yeah yeah I had no clue about Google Ads I just started straight in the Google ad support with a nice training from Google um where you even had to yeah do exams and everything to to enter the floor yeah that's a good uh good foundation for your career so um yeah it was perfect yeah and um one one extra question then is um since you have all this experience in Google Ads now for a long time what is something that you believe about Google Ads that most people would disagree with yeah that I think that's exactly my my belief is the Google ad support is um can be really good um but I think everyone thinks Google support is not doing a great job um but I think there is still hope inside because when I was working the Google ad support uh I know like how the the teams are working together how the agents are so they're really a difference between agents some are really wanting to help you some are really bad so um I yeah I think like the Google ad support if you get a if you catch a a good Agent um he's doing everything or she's doing everything um to solution offer the case that's like the Google language behind um and uh yeah I think since I started there I have a really really clear picture uh behind the scenes and I know there are really really good people there also like they have a lot of potential they start maybe their career in Google Ads there they learn a lot and then they uh yeah they they try to like do everything to help
06:34you uh but unfortunately not all of them so I so yeah I know that the support cannot always be amazing um but I know that inside the Google Ads if you get the right agent it's the support experience can be amazing yeah because some are really good and yeah yeah I definitely got that experience if you have a good Google rep I think you are really lucky because then they can really help you and think with you on the on the business level whereas if it's a maybe not as good one you just push the features without actually thinking about if is it right for the business yeah yeah but that's that's like the other part that's the rep part oh right that's the Google rep part like sales part but what I was talking is more support like if you open your ticket that's where I work there so that's like uh you can have really good agents that do everything to solution offer your case because you can internally consult within Google so they're like the called subject matter expert that can help you on any case that you need um but some people just say I don't know the answer and give you like a push back and that's it but yeah I think the support if you're lucky it you can go far with it yeah they can help you with every matter yeah yeah um so let's talk about demand gen uh you did a a webinar with uh luno couple months ago I think and um I I was on a webinar with them last week or yeah last week and James mentioned that he calls you the demand genen Whisperer so uh let's talk let's talk all about demand genen um first of all I would like to understand like where did your interest for the man genen come from because I don't see a lot of people
08:12posting uh insights about the man genen on LinkedIn for example but you are one of the people that is posting yeah quite a lot about it so where did that interest come from yeah so like in the beginning when I saw the discovery got upgraded to the man gen um I was really curious like how this campaign type is going to progress like if it's going to be like a pmax um type like really big or or not so I I really sat down and said I need to study everything about it I want to be one of the first to know everything about it I want to be one of the first to test it out and then share it on LinkedIn help others because uh I saw in the beginning like a lot of uh soci Google ad specialist that were saying it doesn't work it doesn't work and and my my goal for myself also personally was like how to optimize this campaign how to be the first one to know where to optimize where to start um because yeah I also saw a lot of potential for for my clients who do already meta um so I wanted to really see how can I get my clients who do already meta who have good creatives to be um the first present on the manen and test it out with their like meta creatives um so yeah I it was I think like my person um goal to learn everything about it and to know how to optimize it um and help my clients that was I think the my motivation to do it yeah yeah very nice so let's let's dive into that then um could you maybe in a nutshell explain to people I know that most people have heard about demand maybe even
09:48experimented a little bit with it but could you maybe in a nutshell explain what it is and what type of advertisers what type of clients the manen is suitable for yeah so like the Mansion is obviously like a a campaign type where you need visually appealing creatives something that works also in meta um content that grabs attention uh and uh where you also can drive conversions more or less in the right moment so it's it's a very similar campaign type to pmax it's um automated uh really algorithm driven but it has some big differences um for example you can really Target audiences not just like with signals in like in pmax it has no paid search placements for example and uh you you place ads like in the to to to people um um in the in front of people like that are interested in your product but not searching for it so it can be really a a good way to to uh create demand for your paid search campaign for example and uh yeah it's it's like you can reach yeah Google says you can reach up to I think three billion users it's like a huge placement um and it has some some nice uh treats that I call them like look alike audiences you can do attribution analysis and whatever so um yeah it's it's Google really tries to push it and I think um it's it's a type that if you test it it should work for B2B b2c Leen and Ecom I've seen it work for like all
11:28the four um for types um but obviously you need to test um like different creatives first if it's single images video Carousel also feed feed uh product feed campaigns um so yeah it's I think it it can work for everyone who has nice creatives who really puts a lot of effort into uh visual um like design and who maybe already has um has good data on meta what works what not works because it's quite similar um yeah so if you have like a think good history in meta and you know what your audience where your audience converts what your wants to see where you can grab attention um I think you have already a good uh a good uh start yeah to for the man and um um so what you mentioned there's no paid search in there also no shopping maybe through um through on the YouTube side but what what placements do you have on demand gen yeah so you have um like shopping you have because you can use your product feed yeah and show your products on YouTube for example so your your placements like one of the biggest is YouTube shorts obviously that's also new that when Discovery got upgrade to the man it this was not before H you can have YouTube infeed uh YouTube shorts you can have Discovery you can have Gmail you can have uh YouTube home feed placements so there's like a a big variation of placements um that were not before like all together in one campaign type so um I think Google did a great
13:08job to put all the entertainment space of Google uh towards like a whole Google property where what what's that's also like a big a big Advantage um that everything all the placements are Google owned properties that means the spam rate is quite low right so you don't have the the pain of all the crappy websites that just clickbait all your ads so you're in a really safe space and that's also really good for for example Brands who have a high brand safety that really care about the brand safety and cannot afford to make any mistakes outside there in the in the Google Ads uh search partner or display partner world so um yeah it's a it's a really great way to have a brand safety place for your ads so that's also a good point that people should know yeah yeah that's that's super interesting yeah for sure hey guys real quick if you like this episode don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss anything in the future and feel free to share with a friend colleague or family member cuz that's the only way we can grow the show all right back to the show when I when the manen was launched um Bob and I dove into um the mechanics of the manen in the in in the podcast was last year and if you look at the recommendations from Google they usually recommend that you have 10 to 15 times I don't know if that's still the case but 10 to 15 times your target CPA as the daily budget um is that still before I go into the rest of the question is that still recommended so yeah um it's for I think for Target CPA Google recommends uh using 15 15 times your CPA as daily
14:48budget but um let's be really like honest here um who has all that money like just to put in one campaign so what I what I saw is that you can also use three or four times uh your CPA's daily budget and it still works fine okay um sometimes like my one of my smaller clients I use one or two times their target CPA and then it's a can be critical so you need to really see if you should if you want to start off with Max conversions um before going to Target CPA if you don't have this threshold of x amount of CPA for daily budget um so yeah that that's something that you need to you you can play around with but I I recommend in the beginning you should go to Max conversions and then you see more or less what is your um like average CPA in the last 30 60 days and then you can recalculate uh your target CPA and you can like really ignore the the the CPA um daily budget recommendation from Google because once you know already your average uh CPA then you you you use that for your campaign and normally works fine yeah but also Google Google says sometimes that you need to have for example if you use Demand with Max clicks Google says you need to have a minimum of100 dollar a daily budget but that's also not true like a Max clicks demand gen um if you really want to do that like you I only recommend it really if you're at if you're in if your business is in the nature where you cannot track conversions then you can use max clicks
16:25for the manen but uh you can also use it with $40 daily budget you don't have to have a minimum of 100 I think that's that's nonsense from Google um yeah but obviously maybe it works better but who has all that money just to to to optimize towards clicks for example it's too much yeah yeah and I think that's that's a that's a really good Insight because that's what I saw with uh video action campaigns on YouTube as well they have really high recommendations like 20 times the target CPA or something like that maybe 10 between 10 and 20 but let's say your CPA for Ecom sometimes on these channels is it can be anywhere that depends on the brand Etc but I had one client that was running YouTube ads heavily and their CPA on YouTube was somewhere around 60 70 euros um so then that means that you need to have around 1,000 daily budget already before you can even start testing yeah and that's uh that's crazy for smaller yeah for smaller for smaller advertisers that's impossible yeah that was also my like my my my idea like once I read that I said like yeah but you need really need to put $11,000 like in in a daily daily budget for Dem man that's like impossible like yeah it's not not really feasible yeah but I mean Google always has those recommendation because once when when they launch a new product they always normally test it out for one or two days with huge data amounts and then obviously the Google algorithm is made the more budget you give him the more data Within short time range the better it can optimize Force so that's why they always
18:03come up with those High numbers but normally in the in the real life those numbers can be really be lowered and you have a good uh a good uh um yeah result then yeah so if you look at um the man and campaigns if you look at the components that are in there what are the key components of a of a successful demand gen campaign so let's let's say campaign structure creatives audiences all that stuff yeah so I think um the best foundation obviously is your creative um you can obviously the best you should um create only one campaign and not split it up in many that's also a very important point that when you run the Manch campaign you should only have one big one and not split it up in many um and that's also why Google um U introduced the first time location and language targeting at at group level so that's like uh that has never been in Google Ads before so that's the first time and the reason is because you should have one campaign and then split it up in different ad groups uh depending on your location and and um language targeting uh obviously um it's the best if you use all um creatives um for example single image video and carousal ads and if you're Ecom you should also enable your product feed and what I always um tell um other Google ad specialist when they want to try the manen is you should have for each ad group you should get um one creative type for example you make a ad group um image you met a ad group video and then
19:41you put in the in the image ad group just the images in the video ad group just the videos and then you let them run for 60 days for example and then you see what performs better and then you kick out the one that didn't perform well and you just go with with the asset type that worked for for your client and once you once you analyzed that and revealed your creative type then you go with it and then you um should add as much as as much as possible um like amount of video or images whatever worked better for you and uh and then um obviously you should start working um on your audiences I mean the audience targeting there is the second most important part of the manen um and the cool thing is you can use look likes so um um if you have good data on on historical conversion um you can obviously download all your um conversion data or your um um or your Shopify for example a customer data and upload it to Google Ads as a customer match list uh and use that as the base for your look like and then you can uh obviously also decide how narrow how broad your liik should be but this normally is the best performing audience segment inside the manine campaign and it's really the most uh refined and the most detailed you can get in Google Ads because yeah customer match list obviously are really good but for the man LC alikes is the best audience segment uh and once you yeah once you use that um you you can obviously also give third party audiences inside in
21:18Market um detailed demographics like in displ YouTube and um and yeah you the cool thing is you can really analyze each segment type by segment type I mean like in market look like or demographic targeting and then there you can always also see which performs better and which should I kick out and with which audience segment should I go further so that's like also the SEC the second optimization that you can go and that really works because based on historical data which audience segment works better you should push your campaign right in the future so um you can really see which if you look at like works for example normally it works well it just gets a bit less clicks than if you have a third party audience in there but that's also in the nature of Google because the third party has obviously more reach so Google wants to push it more so and that's also something you need to to test out first um but normally all my campaigns um once they run more than 60 days I just run them on look lik because that's normally the segment that works best yeah then obviously you have a thir um a thirt part that is obviously the bidding strategy that's really important also um what you what you uh want to optimize your campaign for um normally I recommend max conversion in the beginning and then you can refine it to Target CPA target roas comes way later if you unlock a lot of conversions it's not in the it's not possible to use it in the beginning unfortunately but maybe in the future it will come um sooner and uh also a nice part is site links um I
22:58did also some post on LinkedIn about it you can really push your CTR by using those site links because they're really displate well on YouTube for example and uh yeah and if you have like if you're Ecom and doing the man it's a really nice way also to to get some maybe maybe you can use also your your nice USPS on our site link just to give another information that's also a good way to um uh to pursue the the customer towards your USBS um yeah so there there is a lot of optimization room and and that was also a bit my motivation in the beginning as I said before that I wanted to reveal everything that I can do inside this automated campaign yeah yeah this is nice step by step more and more is coming yeah yeah yeah exactly it sounds like there's a lot of uh hidden cool things about the man gen that are not in other campaign types like for example the look like audiences but also add group level targeting that is that is insane the budget is still on the campaign level right um yeah the budget is on campaign level unfortunately yeah it would be nice it's not like meta yeah that would be cool yeah yeah um so how do you so let's let's paraphrase for a second so we have the creatives are are probably the most important thing you just create one campaign with different ad groups um and then the extra things like sinks and uh and other assets um and the bit strategy is is is crucial um audiences yeah and audiences yeah that's what I was going to uh go to the next question is how do you select your initial uh audiences that you want to Target in the
24:36man yeah so um obviously you need to know more or less what your how your audience uh look like what your target audience look like so as I said in the beginning I I also sometimes use third party audiences like in Market audiences for example so I just look inside my Google Ads interface about nice um in Market Auditors that really where I think my customer my ideal customer is in it um and then obviously the looker likes I I create based on conversion data um and then I refine it with broad middle or narrow targeting depending how big my uh seat list is if I have for example just 100 um um first party data then I put maybe broad um as lookalike um targeting because I don't want to really liit my look alike because if I have my look alike together parallel with my in Market my look alike will get way way less traffic so that's that's a big problem so I want to have my look like a bit broad so I I give like a treat to Google and say Hey you can really try to Broad my look alike and Google is happy because then they can yeah maybe Target not so similar but still inside those that limit so it's always a trade off with Google um and you need to know which uh where Google always tries to push right and um then I had yeah I I created also the strategy from meta um the crossover from meta where you can run for example first uh a lead gen campaign on meta where you gather a lot of nice lead quality um customer data and you use that as your
26:16seat list for your lookalike um in in the Mansion so you upload those lead those leads that you generated with your leaden on meta and you upload upload it as a customer match in Google Ads because then you have really fresh lead lead data that you can use as a lookalike targeting and the idea is because meta and the Manion are so similar so if the if the the logic Works in meta like your ideal user engages with your ad um creative ad and you you're you know you're in the entertainment sector of of advertisement then it should also work on the demand gen side because it's just very similar to to um to meta and uh and the cool thing is obviously you can you can use uh uh you can use a lot of quality question in your meta um lead chain campaign just to really know that you only want the best leads out of it and not just people who who fill out your formula or whatever and then never remember you again so um yeah you can really um filter out on the lead quality on meta side and then you you know that those leads were really qualified and those lead should really work then for you look like on the Dem Manion side so yeah that's a strategy yeah that I um I came up like by coincidence when I when I did a look Alik for a client I said oh oh wow but we can do that and then I wrote it down and I released it on LinkedIn like some month ago yeah and that works well yeah yeah yeah so are there other components of that meta X
27:55Dimension strategy like for example do you use similar creatives do you look at meta for inspiration yeah exactly I use similar creatives that uh that I use for meta let my client uses on meta um and yeah I just like have a nice leion campaign where I really filter out good quality and have a quality barrier to not get all the spam leads inside because that won't help me then then I can use just my Shopify data or my my past conversion data on Google Ads so that doesn't matter so I really want high quality leads from The Meta campaign and I use the similar or the same creatives on meta because that's the whole logic that if it works there it should work there right and we can use this crossover meta Google that has never been before because Google Ads was so Sim so different always and with the manm it's the first time that meta said okay the game is on Google I'm coming Google said the game is on meta I'm coming for you now in the entertainment space nice sick um is there do you split up retargeting and prospecting in the in theand gen different campaigns or ad groups different ad groups only one campaign always yeah only one campaign that's like the general rule yeah because as we saw before the CPA daily budget it's too high to if you have like two campaigns you need 2,000 daily budget for example yeah so no always one campaign yeah that's why Google made the the location and and language targeting on that group level yeah and the cool thing is that the manen is the first campaign ever that learns on at group level so um
29:34that's why you should only have one campign yeah that a really good Insight man just putting it out there at the end but that is that is crucial to understand because that yeah because that that helps you um determine the setup um because exactly um I think some mistakes that people were probably making because I I looked into an account recently and I actually saw two demand gen campaigns um so this person probably didn't know then about the ad group level learning uh yeah then it makes a lot more sense to to in one campaign yeah yeah exactly really solid man um so you mentioned it works in your uh experience with B2B Legion uh BTC Legion Ecom um is there one specific client type where you are just like yeah running the man gen is almost always guaranteed to to to drive results no like more leg not really no there is really no guaranteed um results um for any like yeah any um vertical or B2B b2c um but it's always um like I've seen it work almost every time when I let it run more than two months like if I do all my optimization if I kick out all the the targeting that doesn't work all the creatives who doesn't that that didn't work um so yeah it's it's a it's a campaign type who is really slow I would say um it's in the beginning really slow it needs so much data um if you if you optimize obviously towards purchases you need maybe a month to get one purchase
31:12in the beginning so it's a really slow campaign type maybe because it's new and Google really the algorithm is not so um really F like fined now um but um yeah normally if you run if you let it run uh for a long time it will at the end work and I have one client where the roas is around 4.5 for example which is really good for a mid funel campaign um yeah so but normally I would say the r is around yeah two 2.2 for my clients um yeah depends obviously but then it's not always about the RWS obviously because it's a mid funel campaign so you need to really look into the attribution report that's also one thing that that Google pushed for Dem man campaigns that you can really check how the conversion assists your search campaigns so it's not just you just you don't have to just look at the Ross but you need to see how your demand gen is assisting your other campaigns and normally if you have a high um assist rate that means that your campaign works well um it helps your search campaign to really create demand and the search campaign uh like takes the the demand and shows when the use searches for it so um yeah I think you really need to look inside your attribution reports and then you have a real big picture if your demension is suitable for you or not and not just look at the ruls because it's yeah sometimes I think it's harder for the campaign to get attribution obviously especially if you have search opmax um parallel running um so yeah always check
32:52out how it's inside your conversion path and how it's um towards your click uh to ution uh click and um assist rate it's very important really solid man so to to to summarize it I think you mentioned one campaign at group at group level learning audiences are crucial your creatives um your bit strategy of course you need to decide that based on the data you have and and the goals Etc um other other things that we didn't discuss that are also good to know for the Mana yeah um I think really one one big part is um you should not just um like um turn it on and just let it run um it's really it's a campaign type that needs optimization just like your search campaign um not obviously by scrubbing search them because you don't know them but by really checking every day how your audiences work what's your CTR what's your conversion rate um then you can obviously um with the new beta you can also um on your video creatives you can select on which placement it should run so you can say um my V my my video only wants to should run on shorts should run on instream or whatever so that's also a very good part that Google gives you back control and you can really um decide where you want to to run your uh your um your Dem Manion campaign and uh yeah what what we're missing is a script right now so that's something I I'm working with Mike at
34:32the moment so that's something that we will release soon um yeah what's in the script not soon but I cannot say it right now but it's going to be nice a nice that so okay without going into the details of the script is it similar to how maybe not the whole mechanics but is it similar to how useful the PAC script is for pmax let's say a useful script for the manen I would not say yet because it's the first and it's a draft that we run now on one big Dem manen account um but I think the only thing that we won't have 100% is to say um the percentages that it runs on Discovery on Gmail on on and on YouTube but we will get uh like all the placements and the rest easily um out for everyone to like optimize it yeah like kind of that I did manually it should be now automated like my optimization type yeah very cool so um do you know when that's coming no not yet okay okay but I I tested it already yeah nice it's there yeah sick awesome all right so let's move into the last section here um I want to ask you a few rapid fire questions Thomas and you cannot say it depends I'm going to give you like two options this or that you cannot say it depends and you can cannot elaborate on your answer okay okay so the first one is pmax or standard shopping standard shopping Google has advertisers best interest in mind do you agree or
36:10disagree disagree broad match yes or no no interesting uh a ar ar the automatically applied recommendations bad or good bad manual bidding or smart bidding smart bidding okay two more will match types except broad be gone in two years yes all right and will search and shopping campaigns be around in two years no nice interesting H this is yeah this is fun because you're you're it's hard because you always yeah because I always want to elaborate like say yeah that's why I'm asking this in this way but it's interesting answers man thank you so um obviously like his if you could explain you would and it would be more like it depends nuances we understand understand yeah um so to close it off Thomas one final question if you had to share three golden nuggets about driving results with Google Ads what would that be three golden nuggets tet um like right now I would say use my custom PPC chat gbt um because that's just a nice resource that I use every day and it helps me so much by doing all the Google Ads tasks um decisions like Inspirations yeah so yeah let's say what what can you
37:48do with that and where can people find it yeah it's on chat gbt um it's uh the um it's called PPC uh support Strate and strategic advice by Thomas Eccel and it's um it's has been used now from over 10,000 users already so it's really powerful um and yeah you can do like everything you can do by with chat gbt 4 but you can do this now for everything related to Google Ads so you can analyze graphs um do keyword research do add copies so it already knows how long your ad copy should be you don't have to um you you don't have to um prompt anything because it already knows and since 10,000 user use it it learns every day more um yeah you can uh create graphs also um you can get uh whole audits if you want obviously you should not upload sensitive data that's a thing you should always be aware um but you it's it can write strategies for you it can help you um like getting campaign structures for you so everything everything that that that uh that you can do CH gbt can also do in in a way now and uh it's really cool yeah it's a really I put that in the show notes as well yeah I created it in November 23 when when the custom chat gbt came out so I was the first one to create a Google Ads one and it's big really big um second I would say um yeah there is um gold nugget so there is a a really cool
39:28optimization um help from Google and uh it's not sales so it's really optimization because I also work there uh after a support so I can tell you it's a really good service from Google where you can um request um optimizations for example for keywords for comprehensive audits for ad copies and so on and Google will elaborate everything for you the specialists at Google will do everything for you and then send you over all the optimization for your account so that's a premium service from Google that is currently only for LCS large customer segments available and uh it's not sales because I work there and I know it it's really just uh focusing on quality for you and uh yeah you can use it it's will help your account for sure to get like a second opinion it's always good um and yeah I think one other is maybe I said it already before but um I really love the attrib attribution report in Google Ads that's so important for all the campaigns that I use it's like a I think a golden nugget to to see uh to see performance um data outside of your conversion raw CPA metrics um because the attribution report really unveils um all kind of support in between your campaigns uh crossovers from your mid funnel campaigns and lower funnel campaigns so getting this addition insights inside this um this nice retribution report where you can also see the conversion path of your campaigns I think that's so important
41:06and I really like to work with it uh for all my clients it's a really good report there yeah very solid man very good tips so all right man um Thomas thank you very much for coming on the PBC Master podcast and sharing your your demand gen insights I can understand why they call you the demand gen whisper because there's lot of insights that I I didn't even know about so thanks for that um lastly where can people follow and connect with you yeah they can uh follow on LinkedIn Twitter x uh Tik Tok Instagram everywhere uh and yeah if if they want uh the chat gbt then obviously either they search inside the gbts um for PPC and then it's already the first um that comes out there or they can text me and I send it to them but yeah yes also put it in the yeah cool I will also put it in the description so people can click there um all right Thomas keep up great work man you're building awesome stuff can't wait to see what you're going to have for us in six months H I have no idea about the script with Mike Rhodes so let's see what that is going to be that sounds exciting as well and um yeah thanks for coming again and catch you on the in the future thanks a lot M for being here was an awesome session thanks all right and thanks everyone for listening and catch you in the next episode Peace T all right that's the end of this episode of the BBC Mastery podcast I hope you enjoyed it and if you don't want to miss any future episodes we're going to be back next week then don't forget to subscribe and share with a friend family member or a colleague uh cuz that's the
